Growing up on a farm, Micheal has gained immense knowledge and experience in Agricultural production technologies over the years. His professional interests focus on Animal Breeding and Nutrition. He received a Bachelor of science in Agriculture from Makerere University (Animal science) in 2015 and a Master of Agriculture (Animal science) from Jeonbuk National University (South Korea) in 2019.

Before graduation, he served as a nutrition research assistant at Cheonglim M & F Corp in Seoul, South Korea from where he joined Dodram Environmental Research Center as a graduate trainee in commercial swine production systems between 2017 and 2019. He then joined PNR Farms Africa Ltd as the Technical Project Manager. With PNR, he designed swine breeding programmes, formulated feed diets, and spearheaded the sales and distribution of Pig Improvement Company (PIC) genetics within Uganda and neighboring countries. Later, he joined Kaffiika Animal Feeds to spearhead the sale of Koudijs piggery assortments and National Animal Genetic Resources Center and Databank as a Graduate Research Assistant, roles he serves to date.

Since his 2020 Seeds of Gold Video, “Raising Gilts and Suitable Porkers”, Micheal has trained hundreds of thousands of farmers at Harvest Money Expo, and through webinars, workshops, and different media platforms. Apparently, he seeks to advance his career through Ph.D. studies in Animal Nutrition and/or Breeding.
